Welcome to Kids Connect
Purpose The purpose of the Kids Connect program is to assure that every child has a primary care medical home. The goals are to educate parents/guardians about the ways to approximately utilize the health care system regardless of their insurance status and to maximize the abilities of existing providers to identify a family's needs when they enter the health care system in Yakima County wherever they enter the system. The objectives are to decrease use of the emergency department for non-emergent number of uninsured children; and maximize coordination across agencies.
